My name is Dr Archana Sunil Nikose. I graduated from GMC Nagpur(India) in the year 1990 and did my masters in Ophthalmology from the same institute in 1993. I am currently working as an associate professor in NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Center, Nagpur. I am in teaching profession since last 25 years.
Along with my clinical work, I am specially interested in teaching and research work. My field of interest in research is phacoemulsification , refractive cataract surgery and oculoplasty surgery.
The institute I work in has 150 undergraduate students and my department has 11 postgraduate students every year. I dedicate myself in providing knowledge of my subject to UG and PG students. I guide them in dissertation and research publications, and also in surgeries. I am a reviewer of “Seminars In Ophthalmology” and your journal.
I want to help students truly articulate what they are trying to say in a methodical and scientific way and to motivate them for reasearch publications. It is my vision that I would be able to enhance the great work the journal is already carrying out.
